We recently hosted a workshop for women who had interrupted their college educations at a point in their lives  --  not an uncommon phenomenon-- to raise children, take care of an ailing family member or pursue a career. I sat amongst women ranging in age from their early 30s to their early 50's. I listened to their stories and I felt their angst. They were scared, nervous, anxious...and unknowing. When you leave something for a period of time, then attempt to go back, you become acutely aware that the passage of time effects change. It's hard to go back. But, if you have enough information, if you know what to expect, the return is much less difficult.

My hope is to help you, male or female, at whatever age, feel  more empowered toward an education that fulfills you in spirit and mind.
